Another Card with the Paper Dolls Carts

I had such fun using EDPD and PDDU making a card for DH yesterday that I made another one today for my "adopted" son who is a combat engineer in the Canadian forces. The inside says " Have a safe and happy new year!" I had to find a picture of the camo they wear and print it to cut the shirt and pants. The beret and rifle came for Stand and Salute.

I think I am in love with the 2 PD carts!!

A Non-traditional Christmas Card

I made this card for my husband who is a hunter and has a number of clothing items with the various Realtree designs.  I cut the doll with the Paperdolls cartridge at 5 " and then cut the needed clothes to match.  I had to locate a picture of the fabric with Google and print it to use for the clothing. I also printed a page of bark and cut the tree which I popped up with foam dots. The card was made from gray cardstock; finished size 5x7. I chalked the top with 2 different blue chalks for the sky and the bottom with brown and green to resemble the ground.  The chalks were blended with a kleenex--nothing fancy!! The inside is rather plain with the sentiment printed in green on tan paper with a chalked edge. I am quite sure he will like it!

Stamped Tile Coasters

Paint Can Swap hosted by JeanP

CraftyRCC aka Rachel had my name and I was surprised when the package arrived today. I was absolutely amazed by the thought she put into creating this can for me and also by the amount of goodies she managed to pack into the can and box. Thanks so much Rachel!! There will be quite a few pics to show everything.
Love the antique knob on top!!

Sisters Play Together LO

This a simple LO I have been working on for Erin's scrapbook. All pictures have her with older sister Emilee.

LO for November Swap A Crop

Since I know this has been received I can now post it here. Our instructions were to do a fall LO or follow the sketch provided. Well, I lucked out because the pics I had to work with were from Halloween. I did follow the sketch somewhat though. I took 2 pics of the children trick or treating and "stitched" them together in my photo program.

MIx and Match ATC Swap

I just finished hosting an ATC Swap that involved taking an idea from each of two different lists and putting them together to come up with an ATC. I received many inventive and creative cards. I am posting the pictures of each group. I feel sure all participants will be impressed when they receive their envelopes back. Thanks to all those who participated--this was a great swap.

Green Goulash Swap

I decided to add a few of the LOs I did for TMarie's swap that was earlier this fall. It was a challenge for me to do these without any pictures but I was quite happy with the way they turned out.

Another Sneak Peek--Christmas/Holiday Tags

I was in a Christmas/Holiday tag swap hosted by Caitlynsmommy aka Crystal. I participated in eight groups--several of my tags are pictured below. Some of the pics are before I glued them down when I was getting an opinion from JeanP.  Some had additional elements added but I never took pictures of the finished tags. The ones that follow from top to bottom are child's tag, two for green, red and white, other than Christmas [I chose birthday] and  blue, silver and white.

Decorative Tile

Here is a tile I made using a picture printed on tissue paper.  I added the date after the modpodge was dry.

This one is meant to be decorative but with several coats of modpodge or a spray sealer, it could be used as a coaster but the absorbtion properties of the tile would be lost. Here is the link to the directions:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/photo_tiles/

I did find out that it worked better to cut the tissue paper smaller then the full size of the cardstock I was using to put through the printer and tape it securely on all sides.  I left it attached to the cardstock to trim it as well.

Sneak Preview of an ATC for the Mix and Match Swap

I mixed weather with an advertising slogan, "When it rains it pours!"
I printed two for each ATC and carefully cut out the little girl with her umbrella
and stuck her on with pop dots.
