Stamped Tile Coasters


I made a few sets of these stamped tiles as gifts.

    I love these so did you stamp directly on the tile. Did you have to do anything to the tile first( eg sand) these are great

    Marie,
    I stamped right on the tiles --they come 9 in a box at Home Depot. They are a little more expensive than the tumbled tiles everyone was using but are right next to them in the store--a dollar or more a box but much smoother. I did a background word stamp first in a lighter shade and then the animals in a darker brown. If you don't have a lighter ink, you can sand after the first stamp is on to lighten it.
