Quilts for Granddaughters

Hurrah, one is done except for the tying.  Here it is on my bed and the second picture shows a close up of the borders and binding.

Crazy Cat Quilt or Cat Crazy Quilt--LOL!

This is a quilt I just finished for my oldest granddaughter. She picked out the cat material and I fussy cut the six-sided centers for the squares and framed each  using the same six solid colors.  I cut strips from any materials I had in my stash that co-ordinated with the centers and finished each square that was on a base of muslin.  There are 35 squares--five across and seven down with a narrow first border of dark purple and a wider second border of  light purple and then bound with the dark purple.
